Following are trainings for January and February, 2009

JANUARY 12, 2009 -- IEP TRAINING
This in-service is for new as well as senior teachers. We will discuss the current MDE requirements, new LD Criteria, Best Practices, and Due Process Monitoring and hopefully answer ALL your questions!!!

JANUARY 26, 2009 -- PARAPROFESSIONAL
This in-service is for all paraprofessionals. This will be repeated on January 26, 2009. Topics to be included will be behavior management, appropriate modifications and accommodations for special education students, and an understanding of each disability.

February 2, 2009 -- PARAPROFESSIONAL
Similar to above so you can send part of your paraprofessional staff to training without losing programming for a day.

FEBRUARY 9, 2009 -- TSES MANUAL
A new requirement for each school is to develop a Total Special Education Manual. Please come with examples of the policies and procedures you school uses and learn from others as share with you.
